Robert Ronald Anderson, age 72 of Toronto, OH passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Laurels of Steubenville.

He was born July 16, 1943 in Wellsburg, WV the son of the late William and Ann Heatherington.

Robert was a graduate of Wellsburg High School; retired from the U.S. Can Company, Weirton, WV and served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Karen Heatherington and step-son Tim Shane.

Robert is survived by his wife Judith L.  (Paules) Anderson whom he married June 27, 2005; son Greg Anderson of Toronto, OH; brother Phillip (Madelon) Heatherington of Mingo Jct., OH; sisters Connie McMurray of Washington, PA and Donna Zende of Wheeling, WV; six grandchildren.

Robert's arrangements are private and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto
