Robert R. Custer, age 83 of Toronto, OH passed away Saturday, September 9, 2014 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

He was born May 4, 1931 in New Cumberland, WV the son of the late William Harry Custer and Mary (Stephan) Custer.

Robert was a life member of the Toronto Masonic Lodge # 583 F.& A.M.; was a 1949 graduate of Toronto High School and was retired from the Hancock Manufacturing Company having been employed as an engineering manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Ann (Daniels) Custer in 2004 whom he married March 21, 1950; daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Jo Easter in 2007; brother, William Custer and sister Margaret Blackburn. Robert is survived by his sons, Terry and Timothy Custer both of Toronto, OH; daughter, Shelly Custer of Mason, OH; son-in-law, Wayne Easter of Toronto, OH. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements for Robert will be private at the convenience of the family with a graveside service at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
