Robert Everard "Bob" Heaton, age 78 of Toronto, OH passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

He was born August 7, 1936 in Toronto, OH the son of the late Robert L. and Ruth Joy Heaton.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Toronto High School; was a long time ham radio operator and had membership in a ham radio club and was retired from the Ohio Power Company as a senior draftsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Todd Heaton in 1987.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sally S. (Metzgar) Heaton whom he married May 10, 1958 and a daughter, Wendy Sue Vein of Steubenville, OH.

All service for Bob will be private. It was Bob's wishes to be cremated.

Bob's services are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto, OH.
