Robert A. "Bob" Pinnell of New Bern NC, a former longtime resident of Toronto, passed away February 13th at the Duke University Hospital, Duram, NC.

Bob was born September 24, 1952 in Point Pleasant, WV the son of the late Howard and Edna (Chasteen) Pinnell and he was also preceded in death by brothers, Jim and Gene Pinnell.

Bob was a graduate of Toronto High School, was a great fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Steubenville Big Red football. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union. Before retirement Bob had been a truck driver for the Scheider's Trucking Company. He also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Bob is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn (Cavanaugh) Pinnell; daughters, Angel Stewart and husband Randy, Melissa Pinnell, Sahnnon Carpenter and husband Curtis; grandchildren, Nick Pinnell and Evan Stewart and wife Bobbi; sisters, Shirley Rouse, Linda McCarthy and husband Tom.

Family and friends will gather for Bob's visitation Monday February 24th from 5 to 7 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

The Toronto American Legion Honor Guard will present military honors at the funeral home following visitation hours Monday.
