Roberta M. A"BirdieA" Porter - Age 82 - of Toronto passed away after a lengthy illness Saturday - November 26, 2005 at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit - Trinity Medical Center - East, Steubenville. She was surrounded by her children at her death.She was born May 12, 1923 in Steubenville the daughter of the late William and Leona Haupt Miskelly.Roberta is Protestant by faith, was an avid gardener and loved birds.She is retired from the School of Bright Promise of Jefferson County.Roberta was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Porter who passed away in 1983 and whom she married January 21, 1943 and also two great-grandchildren.Her survivors are:4 Sons: Robert L. Porter and wife Claudia of Atlanta Georgia Lawrence R. Porter and wife Jackie of Empire, Ohio John L. Porter and wife Sally of Toronto, Ohio William J.
