Ronald Paul Shumard, Sr. age 77 of Wellsville, OH, a former resident of Toronto, OH passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 25, 1947 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Robert J. Shumard, Sr. and Kathleen Anita (Dougherty) Shumard. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Anita Shumard and a sister, Donna Bickerstaff.

Ronald was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School; was retired from the Weirton Steel Co. as a electrician in the tin mill department and he loved cars of all kinds.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie (Merrill) Shumard whom he married May 27, 1967; sons, Ronald Paul (Tammy) Shumard, Jr., Gerald Patrick Shumard, Shawn Kevin Shumard and daughter, Angela Nicole (Todd Busana) Shumard; grandchildren, Corey , Mason, Quitentin, Mavyn, Gavyn, Miracle and Asher; great-grandchildren, Kayiah, Miles, Madeline, Wayne, Atlas and Lana; brother, Robert (Shelia) Shumard, Jr. and sister, Phyllis (Gary) Davidson.

Ronald's arrangements are private and are entrusted to the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
