Russell Rae Loy of Toronto passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

He was born February 20, 1952 in Dayton, OH the son of the late Robert Loy and Delores (Brown) Hicks.

Russell had been employed as a mechanic at the Neidengard's Harley Davidson Store in Wintersville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great – granddaughter, Olivia Wilson and a brother, Robert Loy.

Russell is survived by sons, Jesse M. (Kylie) Loy of Toronto and Russell E. "Nick" Loy of Richmond, OH; daughter, Rikki Rae (James) Shinkle of Springfield, OH;

Grandchildren, Ryan (Selena) Crabtree, Arianna (Gary) Wilson, Harley Riley and Isabella Kirschman; great-grandchildren, Ariah Wilson and Layla Crabtree; brothers, Charles (Cindy) Loy, Richard Loy, Jerry (Malanie) Hicks and Mark (Amy) Loy; former wife and companion, Sally A. Loy of Scio and step-father, Jerry Hicks of Greenup, KY.

Russell's arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto and will be private.

Memorial donations may be sent to the  Clarke Funeral Home to assist Russell's family with expenses.
