Ruth Virginia Kirkpatrick, age 93 of Toronto passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Laurels of Steubenville, OH

She was born August 22, 1922 in Port Homer, OH the daughter of the late Elza and Hazel (Grimm) Buchanan.

Ruth was a member of the New Somerset Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William J. Deruelle and second husband, Robert Kirkpatrick; sons, William, Theodore, Jerry and Donnie Deruelle.

Ruth is survived by her son, Rick L. Deruelle of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Joey Amos of Toronto, OH, Billy Deruelle and Ronnie Deruelle serving in the armed services of our country, Jason Deruelle of Highlandtown, OH and Malinda (Doug) Boyles of Wintersville, OH; great-grandchildren, Heddi Deruelle of Steubenville, OH and Brian Deruelle of Florida; sister, Nadine Amos of Toronto, OH.

Visitation for Ruth will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, February 22nd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration service of Ruth's life will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 23rd at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Minto officiating. Interment will follow at the New Somerset Christian Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
