Obituary
Ruth Carol Talbot, age 77 of Empire, OH passed away February 18, 2019 at the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born February 17, 1942 in Toronto, OH the daughter of the late Walter and Golda Pearl (Aikens) Gillis.
Ruth had attended the Bray's Chapel United Methodist Church of Toronto (Costonia), OH and the Riverview United Methodist Church of Toronto, OH. She had been employed as a nurse's aide for home health care,
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Norman and Donald Gillis.
Ruth is survived by her sons, William Keith Spencer of Coco Beach, FL and Brian Keith Spencer of Richmond, OH and a daughter, Barbara Higgs of Empire, OH. Five
grandchildren also survive.
Ruth's arrangements will be private and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto, OH.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ruth may be made to a church of the donor's choice.
