Ruth Anne White, age 79 of Toronto passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home.

She was born March 25, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary Ann McMasters. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bernie White in 2020; stepmother, Mary McMasters; sister, Rosemary Hamilton and grandson, DeMari Lawrence in 2019.

Ruth was a member of the Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens; a 1965 graduate of Jefferson Union High School; she loved to go to yard sales; go to thrift stores; loved eating out and loved to do couponing.

She was a caregiver over the years to many people and was always busy caring for others.

Her loving family includes her daughters, Lori Gorney ( Kenneth) and Tammy Allen; grandchildren, Kacey Gorney (Mira), Jessica Gorney (Jimmy), Victoria Allen (Dom) and Richard Allen, Patrick White (Jay), Robert White, Sean White (Lynette) and Timmy White; great grandchildren, Alden, Caleb, Emmie, Landyn, Addie, Craig, Giovonni and Jaylen.

A visitation gathering for family and friends of Ruth will be held from 3 to 6 PM Monday May 11th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

Memorial donations in Ruth's memory may be directed to the Valley Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
