Sayla Marie Watson, age 68 of Mingo Junction passed away Sunday September 18, 2022 at the Weirton Medical Center.

She was born in Steubenville the daughter of the late Sale Johns, Jr. in 1974 and Paula Johns in 2019 and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Alissa McTheny in 2016; aunt Charlotte Zapta; nephew, Paul Carnahan and her partner, Jake Robinson.

Sayla was a homemaker and a 1972 graduate of Toronto High School with honors and was recognized as a National Honors Society member.

She is survived by her son, Zac Robinson of Mingo Junction; granddaughter Brooke McTheny of Toronto; grandson, Bret McTheny of Newport News, VA; great-granddaughter, Nora Cox; sister, Diana Swick of San Pablo, CA; brothers, David (Bonnie) Johns and Brian (Linda) Johns all from Cleveland.

Visitation hours for Sayla will be from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM Friday, September 23rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. A celebration of Sayla's life service will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home Friday with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating.
