Scott Emerson Taylor age 62 of Toronto passed away unexpectantly Wednesday August 5, 2026 at his home.

He was born February 19, 1964 in Steubenville the son of the late Harry Emerson Taylor and Edna Joann Taylor who survives.

Scott was a 1982 graduate of Toronto High School; was a history buff; was an antique collector; loved music and was a song composer.

He was a security officer for the Allied Security Company and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Ann (Sparks) Taylor whom he married December 16, 2024; son, Zachery Scott Taylor; brothers, Harry Ross Taylor and Lester Paul Taylor and wife Tonya; step children, Sarah, Thomas, Joseph and Elizabeth. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life for Scott is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26th at Squids Brewery Toronto from 5 to 9 PM.

To honor Scott’s wishes he will be cremated.

Scott’s arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
