Shirley Marlene Bright, age 80 of Toronto, OH passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.

She was born October 12, 1937 York, OH.

Shirley was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Toronto, OH;  loved taking care of her family, sewing,  playing cards with the ladies and bowling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rillis G. and Myrtle M. Diehl Calderhead; husband, George P. Bright, Jr. in 2016 whom she married January 4, 1958; sisters, Ellen L. Diorio and Audrey I. Kendziorski.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Joe) List of Kissimmee, FL and Marisa Ross of Richmond, OH; son Michael (Traci) Bright of Follansbee, WV; grandchildren, Shelly (Kevin) Mantei, Sean (Sarah) List, Kristy List,Caitlin Bright, Janna (Chris) Poling, Jacob and Sarah Ross; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Donna M. Butler of St. Petersburg, FL.

Honoring Shirley's wishes, there will be no visitation or services scheduled.
