Stella J. Pyrovolikos, age 87 of Wintersville, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness.Born May 30, 1924 in Wheeling, West Virginia, she is a daughter of the late Jack and Archontula Kefalos. She is a 1943 Graduate of Steubenville High School and is retired from the United States Department of the Navy where she worked as an administrative Secretary. She is a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Steubenville. She is a member of the Panicarian Brotherhood of America "Icaros"; The Business and Professional Women''s Club of Washington D.C.; Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society; The greater Washington D.C. area softball league; and the Holy Trinity Senior Citizens.In addition to her parents, She is preceded in death by her adoptive parents, James and Kalliope Lardas; her husband Vasilios G. Pyrovolikos whom she married October 18, 1953 and who passed away October 3, 2007; two sisters, Eleanor J. Kefalos and Chrissie Binikos; a Grandson Leo Edward Kisner; and a nephew Jack Binikos.Stella''s survivors include, three daughters, Mrs. Maria Lynn Evans and her husband Richard of Oceanside, California, Mrs. Argie V. Kisner of Wintersville, Oho, and Mrs. Rhonda Kay Pierro and her husband Joe Sr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son George V. Pyrovolikos of Steubenville, Ohio; a sister Kathleen Pasvanis of Steubenville, Oh; four Grandsons, Vasilios H. Niapas, Eugene Michael Kisner, Robert Maris, Joseph Anthony Pierro Jr.; and a granddaughter Miss Maria Elena Pierro.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home a
