Steven M. Smith, age 53 of Stratton, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Allegheny General Hospital - Pittsburgh.Born March 24, 1952 in Steubenville, he is a son of the late Dale and Geneva Goudy Smith. He is a 1971 graduate of the former Stanton Local High School, and attended the Stratton Church of the Nazarene. Steve was presently employed at the Weirton Steel Division of Mittal Steel - Weirton, W.Va.He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Mrs. Deborah J. Wells Smith of the home whom he married March 17, 1978. A son, Justin W. Smith of the home; two brothers, Michael Smith and his wife Shirley of Hammondsville, and Keith Smith of Stratton; and two sisters, Ms. Frankie Elaine Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla. and Miss Donna Jo Smith of Salem, Oh.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.
