James N. Applegarth, age 88 of Toronto, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center-West.Born September 10, 1910 in Manard Ohio, he was a son of the late Edward and Lucy Bell Applegarth. James retired from Weirton Steel Corporation after 50 years of service as a railroad brakeman. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
