Victor Michael "Mike" Loy of Steubenville (Milhorn Lane), OH passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 16, 1943 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Victor and Wanita Marie (Sines) Loy.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Loy.

Mike loved working on cars; had raised exotic birds; had been the Tri-State Sporting Clays champion; was an avid competitor for car stereos with his son Jason and had built two houses by himself.  He had been employed by the Ohio Edison Company, Sammis Plant, Stratton, OH.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche Elizabeth (Pethtel) Loy whom he married January 8, 1965; son, Jason Edward (Erin) Loy of Steubenville, OH; daughter, Victoria Blanche (Robbie) Kerr of Steubenville, OH; brothers, John Thomas Loy of Amsterdam, OH and Clarence Paul (Mary Ann) Loy of Riverside, CA and sister, Phyllis Ann Fisher of Steubenville, OH;

grandchildren, Isabella Elizabeth Loy of Steubenville, OH, Mia Yvonne Loy of Steubenville, OH and Megan Kerr of Kent, OH

Visitation hours for Mike will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, August 22nd at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, State Route 213, Steubenville (Pleasant Hill), OH.

A celebration service of Mike's life will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 23rd at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Loucks officiating. According to Mike's wishes, he will be cremated.

Mike's arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.
