Ruth Tharp - Age 57 of Hammondsville, Ohio, died Monday July 2, 2001 at the East Liverpool City Hospital - East Liverpool, Ohio.
Ruth was born March 6, 1944 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William E. and Violet Ruth Hanlin Toy.
She was a member of the Friendship Tabernacle - East Liverpool, Ohio.
She is a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters - Joanna Toy and Emma Elizabeth Miller.

Husband: Leonard Lee Tharp of the home whom she married December 15, 1958 3 Sons: Leonard Lee Tharp II and wife Kathy of Steubenville, Ohio William Emerson Tharp and wife Cindy of Hammondsville, Ohio Donald M. Tharp and wife Tracy of Amsterdam, Ohio 2 Daughters: Violet Ruth Ghrist of East Liverpool, Ohio Mrs. Randy ( Donna M. ) Cronin of Hammondsville, Ohio 1 Sister: Mrs. John ( Della ) Hartline of Empire, Ohio 22 Grandchildren / 3 Great-grandchildren There will be visitation hours 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday - July 5, 2001 at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street - Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446 A funeral service will be held Friday - July 6, 2001 at Clarke Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Taylor officiating.
