Virginia Kestner Carlson - Age 84 - of Toronto passed away Monday - January 2nd at her daughter''s home in East Liverpool, Ohio following a lengthy illness. She was born July 8, 1921 in Madison, West Virginia the daughter of the late Louise Bauman Ball and Harry Myers Ball.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack W. Kestner, Sr. and Harry W. Carlson; her son Jack W. Kestner, Jr., sister Beatrice Thorne, and brothers Jack and Paul Ball.She is survived by her devoted daughter, Janis (David) McIntosh of East Liverpool whom Virginia was staying with, sisters Ruth (Arthur) Kunkle of Steubenville, Barbara (Nelson) Freeland of Willoughby, Ohio; daughter in law Georgene Kestner of Portage, Indiana; grandchildren Jeff (Diane) and Chad (Kathleen) Kestner; Aaron (Mindy) Troski, Joshua and Jeremy Troski; great grandchildren Cameron Kestner, Gabriel and Isabella Troski; and Sydney Troski, and several nieces and nephews.Virginia was a full time homemaker and devoted her life to ministry at the First Presbyterian Churches in Toronto and Venice, Florida. She served as Deacon and as first woman Elder; youth and adult educator for many years, and leadership in the Women''s Circles of the Toronto First Presbyterian Church.Memorial services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church - 116 N. Third Street - Toronto on Friday - January 6, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Michael Bongart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church - 116 N.
