Virginia Lee Snider, age 79 of Toronto passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Weirton Geriatric Center, Weirton, WV

She was born July 24, 1935 in Marietta, OH the daughter of the late Herman Styer and Josephine Newton Russell.

Virginia was a former member of the First United Methodist Church, Toronto and was retired from the former Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnell A. Snider, Jr. in 2012 whom she married August 21, 1962; brothers, Robert K. and Walter McCrae Styer and sister, Helen Irene (Rene) Styer. Virginia is survived by her son, Michael Ray Styer of Mingo Jct., OH; grandchildren, Michelle "Shelby" Lynn Styer of Mingo Jct., OH and Crystal (Scott) Fluharty of Toronto, OH and sister, Joanna Casto of Vienna, WV. Friends and family will gather for visitation 5 to 8 P.M. Saturday, December 13th at the Clarke funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH. A celebration service of Virginia''s life will be held at 8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Kenn Sickle officiating. Following Virginia''s wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial contributions in memory of Virginia may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association, 3695B Boardman-Canfield Rd., Suite 301, Canfield, OH 44406.
