Vivian LaRue Montgomery, age 67 of Toronto passed away suddenly October 29, 2017 at her home.

She was born June 19, 1950 in Emden, Missouri the daughter of the late Robert Rosser and Edith Marie (FAIRWEATHER) Rosser  Sciance .

LaRue was a Christian and had attended the Hill Top Presbyterian Church; a graduate of Jefferson Union High School in 1968; graduate of Jefferson Technical College with a degree in computer science and had been the owner and operator of the Clearview Grocery Store, State Route 213, Toronto.

Her whole life was devoted to her family especially her children and grandchildren.

LaRue was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Joseph Rosser and her longtime companion, William Oxley.

She is survived by her daughters, Amber (David) Tuttle of Steubenville and Heather Montgomery of Toronto; grandchildren, Madison Carpenter, Kenzi Potkarjac, David, Peyton and Emily Tuttle, sister, Trudy (Kevin)  McCart of Steubenville; brother Patrick Rosser of Toronto and her beloved pet, Goldie.

Visitation hours for LaRue will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 1st at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto. A celebration service of LaRue's life will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
