Wayne Myers, age 70 of Hammondsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at East Liverpool City Hospital.Born December 29, 1935 in Hammondsville, he is a son of the late Glenn and Goldie Hackathorne Myers. He attended the Port Homer Community Church, and was a retired Laborer and Truck Driver For the Ohio Department of Transportation - Highway Department.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother Charles (1933)His survivors include his wife of 39 years Mrs. Eileen E. Shingleton of the home whom he Married July 22, 1966. A son Glenn Myers and his wife Candy of Richmond, Oh, A daughter Mrs. Sandy Kennedy and her husband Harold of Weirton, W.Va. and six Grandchildren.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto, Oh. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Carolyn Hardy officiating.
