William Thomas "Bill" Utzler, age 49 passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH after fighting a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer.

He was born July 21, 1965 in Steubenville, OH.

Bill was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church of Steubenville (Pleasant Hill), OH; was a 1983 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and was employed at the Titanium Metals Corporation of Toronto, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas M. Utzler; sister, Cynthia Hedges; paternal grandparents, William and Nancy Utzler; maternal grandparents, Andrew and Elizabeth Rock and his former wife, Terri Finn Utzler. Bill is survived by his son, William Terrence Utzler and his mother, Betty Utzler both of Lee Ridge Road, Steubenville, OH; his sister, Debra L. Utzler of Bradenton, FL; niece, Nicole Hedges and nephew Dayton Hedges. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Friends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday, December 4th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. Additional visitation hours will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 5th at the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, State Route 213, Steubenville (Pleasant Hill), OH. A celebration service of Bill''s life will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jeff Proya officiating, Interment will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery, County road 46 and state route 213. Memorial contributions in memory of Bill may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943
