William E. Davis - Age 79 - of Toronto, died Friday - April 12, 2002 at the Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.He was born August 12, 1922 in Steubenville the son of the late Ralph and Frances Lowmiller Davis.Bill is a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church of Toronto.He is a member of the Toronto Masonic Lodge #583 F. & A.M. /50 year member of the Valley of Steubenville Scottish Rite Masons / Steubenville Commandry #11 Knights Templer / Toronto High School Alumni Association.Bill is a Boy Scout Eagle and a 1941 graduate of Toronto High School.He is a veteran of W.W.II serving in the U.S. Army 85th Army - 337th Army Division. He served in the European Theatre of Operations during W.W.II and received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.Bill is retired from the Ohio Edison Co. - Toronto Plant.He was preceded in death by: Parents / a brother - James O. Davis who passed away Sept.14, 1997 / a sister - Jeanne L. Ramer who passed away May 22, 2001.Bill''s survivors are: Wife: Betty E.
