William Albert Goettge, age 67 of Toronto, OH passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family Monday, February 6, 2017.

He was born March 1, 1949 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late William and Marjorie (Walker) Goettge.

William was an accomplished artist who loved to paint and draw.

He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War era and was retired from Laborers Local Union #809, Steubenville, OH.

William was preceded in death by his parents; son, William Joseph Goettge and a brother, Charles Goettge.

He is survived by his wife, Betty M. (Moorehead) Goettge whom he married December 12, 1975; son, Ethan P. Goettge of Toronto, OH; sisters, Sharon LaSalle of Brilliant, OH and Penny (Elmer) Kiser of Mt. Pleasant, OH; brothers, Denny (Dawn) Goettge of Columbus, OH and Bobby Goettge of Cadiz, OH.

William's arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. All arrangements for William will be private at the convenience of his family.
