William Emerson "Bill" Tharp, age 51 of Wellsville, OH passed away suddenly Friday, May 29, 2015 at his home.

He was born January 6, 1964 in Steubenville and was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Toy) Tharp.

Bill had been employed the Artistic Accent Co. in Chester, WV and he had served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves.

He is survived by his father, Leonard Lee Tharp of Hammondsville, OH; fiancé, Jennifer Lynn Draa of the home; his former wife, Cynthia (Weese) Tharp of Richmond, OH; daughters, Billie Ann (Andrew M.) West of Wellsville, OH, Jacqueline Sue (fiancé Jason Gibson) Tharp of Richmond, OH and Ruthie Inez Tharp of Richmond, OH; sons, Jesse William Emerson (Naomi) Tharp of Hammondsville, OH and Jeffery Wayne Tharp of Wellsville, OH; step daughter, Jillian Judkins and step son Michael " George" Kribbs both of Wellsville, OH; grandchildren, Journey, Madison, Zeth, Zak, Zoe, Hayden, Bella and Serenity; brothers, Leonard Lee (Kathy) Tharp II of Steubenville, OH and Donald M. (Theresa) Tharp of Toronto, OH; sisters, Violet Ruth Grist of East Liverpool OH and Donna M. Cronin of Hammondsville, OH; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Bill will take place at the home of Jesse and Naomi Tharp, 501 Township Rd. 456 Ext., Close Road, Irondale, Ohio,2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 6th. The family asks that you bring your favorite fishing chair and a covered dish. Donations to help the family can also be accepted at that time.
