Woodrow (Woody) Wells Jr., age 75 of Toronto passed away Thursday May 13, 2021 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born March 27, 1946 in Mingo Jct. Ohio the son of the late Woodrow Wells Sr. and Lucille (Eddy) Wells.

Woodrow retired from the United States Marine Corp after twenty years of service to his country.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Baker) Wells; sister, Dora Wells and brothers Harry Wells, Hershel Wells, Jess Wells, and John Wells.

Woodrow is survived by his sons, John (Erin Corak) Wells of Toronto, Eric Wells of California, Robert Wells of California, daughters Laura Guerrero of Texas, Diana Caldera of California; sisters Mary Bridental, Margaret Robinson, Clara Stupelli, and brother Ray Wells. He is also survived by his 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather for Woodrow's visitation 6-8 PM Wednesday May 19th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street Toronto, Ohio. A memorial service celebrating the life of Woodrow will be held at 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Arthur Wells followed by Military Honors by the Toronto American Legion Firing Squad.
