Bruce Wayne Huggins, age 68 of Toronto, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.
He was born July 5, 1952 in Grosse Point, MI the son of the late Harold Huggins and Dolores (Wells) Mellott.
Bruce was a member of The Living Well Church of Wellsville; the Ham Radio Association, and the NRA. He was a 1971 graduate of Jefferson Union High School. After working for Hancock Manufacturing, he retired from the USG Company of Weirton as a Quality Control Technician.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Kenneth Cory Cline; sister, Darla Peterson and infant brother Harold Huggins.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Christina Kaye (Grimm) Huggins whom he married May 1, 2000; his daughter, Rachel (Anthony) Orsini of Martins Ferry; his son, Matthew Huggins of Pittsburgh and step-son, Jamie (Jennifer) Cline of Toronto; grandchildren, Jason Cline, Brittany (Shane) Black, Ryan Cline, Michael and Delia Orsini; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Kailynn McNally and Brayden Black; brother, Tracy Huggins of Steubenville; sisters, Laurel (Andrew) Bailey of Middleboro, MA and Sandra Goffoli of Steubenville; half-brothers Lance (Jennifer) Mellott of Kent, OH and Harold Huggins of Mingo Junction.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Bruce will be held 4 PM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 3 to 4 PM Saturday before services at 4.
