Charles F. (Porkchop) Wright, age 81 of Toronto, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
He was the son of the late Louie and Minnie (Thrasher) Wright of Stratton.
Charles was a member of the Empire United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and church trustee. He also served on the board of the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Martin and sisters, Dorothy Graham and Augusta Grimm.
Charles leaves behind his wife, of 61 years whom he married May 7,1960, JoEllen (Vance) Wright; daughters, Anissa (Brian) Wellington and Amy (Scott)Carter; sisters, Mary Johnson, Carrie (Jack) Priganc and Betty (Donald) Martin; grandchildren, Brett (Diana) Wellington, Shane (Lacey) Wellington, Deszahrae (Clayton) Baker, Nathan Carter and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Charles will be held 2-7 PM Thursday, May 20th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto followed by a celebration of his life service at 7 PM Thursday with Pastor Chuck McElroy officiating.
A private family interment will be held Friday, May 21st at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery.
