Daniel Boyd Obituary

Daniel M. Boyd, age 73 of Steubenville passed away at his home Monday, September 20, 2021.

He was born August 12, 1948 in Steubenville the son of the late Milan and Juanita (Boyd)Miller.

Daniel was a member of the Tower of Power of Steubenville and the Weirton Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 688 and was retired from Ft. Steuben Metals.

He was a Vietnam veteran having served his country in the Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Miller in 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Wiley)Allison; son, Daniel Allison of Steubenville; daughter, Melinda Allison (William) Mellott of Steubenville; grandchildren, Ezra and Evan Mellott; sister, Virginia Miller Haverty and boyfriend Roger Roper of Marietta, GA.

Visitation hours for Daniel will be held 2–5 Saturday, September 25th followed by a celebration service of Daniel’s life at 5 PM Saturday with Pastor James Wooden officiating. Loyal Order of Moose honors will be presented for Daniel during visitation hours and there will be Full military honors presented by the Toronto American Legion after Daniel’s service at the funeral home.
