Edward Dean “Bugger” Waggoner, age 72 of Toronto (New Somerset), OH passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home.
He was born September 5, 1948 in Steubenville the son of the late Charles and Sara Waggoner.
Bugger had been a member of the New Somerset Christian Church; member of the How’d You Miss Hunting Club. He loved to hunt and fish and had retired from the Valley Converting Company of Toronto.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Susie (Cooper) Waggoner; brother, Richard “Dickie” Waggoner and his nephew, Kenneth Waggoner.
Bugger is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee (Glenn) Waggoner whom he married in May 1976; sons, Gary (Kristy Waggoner of Richmond and Benjamin “B.J” (Amy Lynn) Waggoner of New Somerset and daughter Amy Jo (Shane) Waggoner of New Somerset; nine grandchildren; brothers, Robert “Butch” (Ban) Waggoner of New Somerset, Kenneth “Kenny” (Lynn) Waggoner of Hammondsville and David “Coop” (Vicki) Waggoner of Empire; aunts, Sally Holland and Lois Hall and Goddaughter, Paulette Davis of Empire.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday, January 10th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. Following visitation Sunday, a celebration service of Bugger’s life will be held at 8 PM with Mr. Darren Scott Officiating.
Memorial contributions in memory of Bugger may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406.
Masks and social distancing are required to attend Bugger’s visitation and service.
