Eric Arthur Holsinger, of Toronto, Ohio, passed away on January 29, 2023 surrounded by his family and loved ones at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on April 22, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Mathia Holsinger and the late Arthur William Holsinger. He is survived by his sister Stephanie Holsinger, beloved niece Isabelle Pratt, godmother Sandy Holsinger, girlfriend Micahlene Ray Zaleski, aunts, uncles, cousins, his extended biological family, and his huge support group of amazing friends.
Eric was an incredibly talented musician, and touched many lives through his performances as a band member, solo artist, and church musician. To say he loved music was an understatement, and all who knew him understood that this passion defined him. He was an outstanding piano player, keyboardist, and guitarist, as well as a vocalist and songwriter. Eric was an active member of Amsterdam Community Church of God, Celebrate Recovery, and Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an ambassador for organ donation, and was a liver recipient himself in 2016. Eric’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. That “certain song” will play - it will probably be a different one for all of us - but we will stop, listen, smile, and be grateful we knew him.
