Harry Michael “Mike” Richardson, age 53 of Toronto, OH passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Trinity Medical Center West Steubenville, OH.
Mike was born March 16, 1968 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Harry Stanley Richardson (2020) and Sandra Kay (Crouch) Richardson.
Mike was an active member of the Cornerstone Church of Toronto where he enjoyed growing in his faith. In his younger days he was a volunteer fireman at the Knoxville Volunteer Fire Department where his cool, calm, collective demeanor was appreciated. His hobbies included: rooting for the Cleveland Browns, always finding time to take someone fishing or hunting, making his own traditional long bows for hunting and archery shoots, flying model airplanes, pursuing his passion to fly a plane and always tinkering on something. He was always the guy who took time out of his day to visit and joke and was always there to lend a helping hand. Mikey never met a stranger.
His previous employment includes: working at the Ft. Steuben Mall, Jefferson County Cable Co. and most recently as a school bus driver for the Edison Local School District.
Mike is survived by his mother, Sandra Kay (Crouch) Richardson of Toronto; his siblings: Kimberly (Nathan Allen) Zeigler, Jay (Jeanette) Richardson, Jenney (Dave) O’Brien, all of Toronto, OH and Amanda (Greg) Stoebner of Webster, South Dakota and all of his beloved nieces and nephews.
