Helen J. “Putty” Biddle Hall, age 60 passed away suddenly Friday, April 2, 2021 at her home.
She was born December 27, 1960 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late John Quincy and Della Dorthea (Stock) Biddle.
Putty had a great sense of humor, had a heart of gold and was a very loving person; she loved her grandchildren and loved animals. She was always there to help others.
She had been employed for many years at Margaret’s Café and at Shooters restaurants both of Toronto.
In addition to her parents, Putty was preceded in death by her brothers, John Biddle and Robert and Jay Stock; sisters, Lida Daugherty, Margaret Swick, Janet Smearman and Gretchen Janelle.
Putty is survived by her husband Robert “Red” Leasure; sons, Ken (Abby) Biddle of Columbiana, OH, Matthew (April) Biddle of Ashtabula, OH, Andy (Chrissy) Hall of Toronto and Todd (Alaina) Leasure of Toronto; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jonna “Babe” Miller of Toronto and Lynn (Bob) Poley of Bridgeton, Maine; many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend, Huberta Siciliano.
Visitation hours for Putty will be held 1-4 & 6-9 Wednesday, April 7th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.
A celebration service of Putty’s life will be held 11 AM Thursday, April 8th at the funeral home with the Reverend Susan Clegg officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
A luncheon following Putty’s service and interment will be held at Frog’s social hall upstairs. Those wishing to take food for the luncheon may do so by taking it to Frog’s between 10 AM to 12 noon Thursday.
Memorial contributions in memory of Putty may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 200 Airpark Drive, Wintersville, OH 43953
