Kathy Ann Holsinger, age 66 of State Route 213 Toronto passed away Sunday June 11, 2023 suddenly at her home. She was named after her aunt, Annabelle Thompson.
She was born in Steubenville the daughter of the late Robert E. Holsinger and Alice M. (Thompson) Holsinger. She was the granddaughter of Harry and Mary Thompson and Arthur Holsinger and Iva Turner. Also preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Holsinger.
Kathy leaves behind, fiancé, Wayne Easter; sisters, Sandy Holsinger and Carolyn (Maynard) Goad; sister-in-law, Sandy Parker Holsinger; nephew, Mark Goad; niece, Amber (Duane) Peckens; two great-nephews and two great nieces, Eva and Memphis Goad and Chloe and Gunner Peckens. She is also survived by her very best friend, Mikilynn “Miki” Arabia Cook; aunts, Annabelle “Annie” Thompson and Mathia Holsinger.
Kathy was a LPN who had been employed at the Weirton General Hospital, East Liverpool Hospital and hospitals in both Florida and South Carolina and was a member of the Toronto Chapter #215 Order of Eastern Star.
Kathy was a very kind soul and never knew a stranger. She will be missed by her family and many, many friends.
Friends and family will be received for visitation Monday, June 26th from 3 to 7pm at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. A celebration service of Kathy’s life will follow at 7pm Monday at the funeral home with the Reverend Jane Schockey officiating.
Toronto Order of Eastern Stars services 6:45 pm Monday at the funeral home.
There will be private family interment at the Toronto Cemetery at a later date.
