Margaret Anne “Peg” Fulton
Mom loved her family, friends, church, kitties, the Pittsburgh Steelers and making specialty pies for family and friends. She loved singing in the church choir. Her favorite hymn was “His Eye is on the Sparrow”.
Margaret Anne (Peg) Fulton, age 90 of Titusville, FL, a former longtime resident of Toronto, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020.
She was born May 7, 1929 in Toronto. The daughter of the late Bert McIlvain and Emma (Peters) McIlvain.
Peg was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto where she served in Martha’s Circle, Mother-Daughter Banquet, church choir, Sunday school teacher, director of the children’s choir, lay leader, acolyte leader, and the church kitchen crew, that served for funerals and church events.
She was a 1947 graduate of Toronto High School. Peg had a vocal education.
Peg was a homemaker and had been employed as a sales lady in the cosmetics department of Kaufmann’s department store in Steubenville.
Besides her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her husband William Fulton in 2003 whom she married October 12, 1993, sister, Nancy Beswick in 2018, brothers, Robert and Fred Taylor, both in 1987.
Peg is survived by her children, Cheryl (Cox) Walsh of Toronto, Susan (Cox)
Al Schmitt of Sarasota, FL, Terry and Dora (Christenson) Cox of Titusville, FL, Emma Cox of Elgin, SC, Louise (Cox) Erich Konjevich of Titusville, FL and seven step-children.
17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 of whom called her GG.
She will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A Memorial service and Interment will be held at the Toronto Union Cemetery at a later date.
