Marilyn June Eisnaugle Altobell, age 89 of Toronto passed away surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, May 12, 2021. She was a proud mother, Nonny and great-grandmother.
She was born February 15, 1932 in Toronto the daughter of the late John Charles Lowe and Esther Eliza Brandfass Lowe.
Marilyn was a member and deacon of the Hill Top Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Mariners of the Church. She was also a member of the Llamba Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and had previously been employed as a clerk at Terry’s Country Treasures.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Edmund Eisnaugle in 1992 whom she married March 6, 1947 and her second husband Eugene R. Altobell in 2005 whom she married September 14, 1996; brother, Charles Lowe; sister, Norma Peck and nephew, Keith P. Straka.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Edward (Beth) Eisnaugle of Toronto; daughters, Linda (Greg) Chapman of Midlothian, VA and Deborah (Tom) Hendricks of Toronto; grandchildren, Tabitha (Scott) Merideth of Toronto, Trey (Lisa) Hendricks of Denver, NC, Rebekah (Michael) Fritz of Ruther Glen, VA, Amanda (Greg) Baxter of Oakton, VA, Edward Eisnaugle, Tyler Eisnaugle, Trevor (Amy) Eisnaugle , Nathan (Courtney) Slusser and Abby (PJ) Putnam all of Toronto; nieces, Darla (David) Lalich of Steubenville, OH; Darene (Ray) Waszkiewicz of Steubenville, OH; and Mary Ann Straka of Columbia, SC.
Great-grandchildren, Delaney and Jocelyn, Benjamin, Isabella, Kyle, Joshua and Liam, Mason, Blake, Zoe, Mara and Trevor, Aubrey, Ella, Cooper and Cambree.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Marilyn will be held at 5 PM Saturday, May 15th at the Hill Top Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Jane Schockey officiating. Marilyn’s family will greet visitors from 4 PM to 5 PM at the church Saturday.
