Nancy Kay Monigold, age 76, a homemaker of Toronto passed away Friday, January 24, 2020
She was born July 15, 1943 in Steubenville the daughter of the late Clarence William and Bertha Nancy (Swartz) Morrow
Nancy was a member of the Bray’s Chapel United Methodist Church; a member of the Toronto Historical Society; was a graduate of Wintersville High School; member of the Ft. Steuben Stamp Club. Nancy loved to write poetry and had several of her poems published.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Morrow and Mary Elizabeth Guy
Nancy is survived by her husband, Artis Monigold; daughters, Sharon Monigold of Columbus, OH and Joyce (Pat Pahl) Bartlett of Toronto; sons, Timothy Monigold of Mingo Junction and James Monigold of Corapolis, PA; grandchildren, Josh & Amber Bartlett, Matthew and Jillian Monigold and Andrew and Justin Monigold; great-grandchildren, Colton, Aria and Pierce; sisters, Lynda (Ed) Westling of Richmond, OH and Carol Frey of Mingo Junction and her childhood friend Mary Ann Harmon.
Visitation hours for Nancy will be held 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, January 28th and 10- 11 A.M. Wednesday, January 29th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
A celebration service of Nancy’s life will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Bobbyjon Bauman officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
