Raymond Eugene Merideth, age 84 of Toronto passed away suddenly Monday, May 18, 2020
He was born September 19, 1935 in Steubenville the son of the late Robert E. and Thelma Mae (Wells) Merideth.
Raymond was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Toronto; was a 1952 graduate of Wellsville High School; enjoyed making model airplanes; was an avid hunter and enjoyed archery.
He retired from the Toronto Ford dealership where he had been an auto body repairman.
Raymond leaves behind his wife, Virginia Carol (Jacobson) whom he married January 17, 1963; his children, Cheryl (Greg) King of Toronto, Kevin Merideth of Toronto, Dena (Kevin) Smith of Weirton, Mandy Merideth of Toronto; Madison Merideth of Toronto; additional children include John (Faye) Merideth of Charlottesville N.C, Penny (David) Garcia of Keileen,TX and Dan Merideth of Green Castle, PA; seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and a brother, Robert (Mollie) Merideth of Toronto survive.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic there will be no visitation or service at this time.
A memorial service honoring Raymond will be planned at a later date.
Memorial contributions in memory of Raymond may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.
