Robert M.”Bob” Molnar, 65, of Toronto, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born in October 1955, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to the late George J. Jr. and Florence (Murray) Molnar and also was predeceased by nephew G.J. Molnar, brother Gregory R. Molnar, and mother Louise (Augustine) Molnar.
Mr. Molnar was a CAT Scan Technologist for over thirty years before retiring. He was a graduate of Penn State New Kensington. He was an avid supporter of local youth sports, coaching little league baseball in Follansbee, WV, umpiring, and announcing games for Brooke High School. He previously served as a volunteer firefighter at Hooverson Heights Volunteer Fire Department. He was a loving father and husband, a personable and playful man, motivativating coach, knowledgeable technologist, and an overall fun guy to be around.
Surviving; wife Carol (Barlas) Molnar, of Toronto, Ohio, children Monica Molnar of Washington, D.C. and Derrick Molnar of Latrobe, Pennsylvania; brother George J. "Skip" Molnar, of Seattle; and, niece Allison Molnar.
There will be no public visitation, and the family is holding a private memorial. In remembrance of Bob Molnar’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Follansbee Baseball Association, P.O. Box 76, Follansbee, WV 2603
