Thomas Charles Cattrell

Thomas Charles Cattrell, age 77 of Irondale, OH passed away Saturday December 17, 2022

He was born December 5, 1945 in Steubenville the son of the late Frank Ford Cattrell  and Ruth (Clark) Cattrell and preceded in death by a daughter, Brooke Cattrell.

Thomas was a member of the Living Well of Wellsville, OH; a 1963 graduate of Jefferson Union High School; a former member of the New Somerset Christian Church where he served as a Deacon and was the organ and piano player for 25 years; he also played for The River Christian Fellowship and the Elevate Worship Center; was on the New Somerset Christian Church Cemetery board of directors; had served on the Edison Local School Board; was a member of the Knox Township Trustees as the financial officer and was on the board of directors of the Carroll County Electric Co-Op People to People Fund and he catered for the Knights of Columbus, Mingo Junction, OH

Thomas was retired from the Weirton Steel Co. as a diemaker.

He is survived by his daughters, Adessa (Bill) DiMarzio of Westerville, OH, Amy Goodrich of Idaho Falls, ID, Arianna Elder of Avon, OH and Jessica Ruth (Lance) Dimond of Sunset Beach, CA ; sister, Elaine (Kim) Schulz of Alliance, OH; grandchildren, Nicolette, Vincenzo, Ryan, Reid, Brock, Bailey and Blake; nieces and nephews, Robert and Jennie Schulz and Brittany Sheckler; great niece, Ellie Sheckler and his former wife and best friend, Linda Cattrell.

Visitation hours for Thomas will be 3-7 Monday, December 26th and from 10 AM to 11 AM Tuesday, December 27th all at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration service of Thomas’ life will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the New Somerset Christian Church Cemetery.
