My fondest memory was of Aunt Verna opening up her home for my rehearsal dinner when Hoby and I got married! A delicious meal and great family time. Now she is back with Uncle Al and all the others before her.

Dear Tom and Family Members,
Chuck and I would like to extend our condolences in the passing of Verna. My sister-in-law worked for Verna during her high school days and one Christmas I remember I got a gift certificate for clothing as my gift. I can still see the outfit I got for it was an exciting adventure for me to be able to go into a fine store and clothes shopping. We made most of our clothes during the school years that this was truly a treat. May you take comfort in knowing she is celebrating Valentine's day with her love, Albert. Hugs......

Verna was a very fine and kind lady. I first met her when she worked at Katz's Market on Loretta Avenue. She helped me pick out my penny candy from the candy case when I was a young child. Then she helped me pick out a couple dresses and suites for some female friends when she was the owner of Verna's. May this kind and fine lady Rest in Peace.
